Spain Pays Out €494m in Fertiliser Aid to Farmers
Spain has begun disbursing fertiliser purchasing subsidies to 249,376 farmers as part of a broader €700 million relief package tied to the Middle East crisis. Payments of up to €92.50 per hectare for irrigated land and up to €38.33 for dry-farmed land are being issued from 4 September 2026.
